SWITZERLANDThe Swiss have done what they do best, and what's that I hear you cry. Well thay have done the unexpected. They have decided to send an over 30 male solo performer to the Eurovision Song Contest, AGAIN. If that all sounds familiar to you, then that's because it is. Last year DJ Bobo was the Swiss entrant, but the differences between Paolo and Bobo are vast. Paolo is a ballad singer, who performs in Italian. He becomes the fourth 2008 ESC artist to be announced. If esctoday are to be believed the song he will sing in Belgrade will be 'Era stupendo'.
UPDATE:
Paolo unveiled 'Era stupendo' at the Swiss Music Awards. The song is currently three and a half minutes long so it will have to be shortened for May. It's not quite a traditional pop song, not quite a ballad. It starts off as a ballad and speeds up about a minute in. This may not completely fulfil the expectations of everyone who heard 'La musica', but I think this will be the most successful Swiss entry of recent years.

The best entry from Switzerland in many years. Nice with some italian language in ESC again!
Good Luck Swiss - 12 points from DK
ça ne sera certainement pas cette chanson qui représentera la Suisse à l'ESC car il est révélé que c'est un plagiat d'une chanson d'Amy Diamonds.... Affaire à suivre....
